storing a bin so it lasts years
sealed, it is good for years. open on a sunny shelf, a few months. here is the difference.
our bins are built to last, but only if you store them properly. the enemies are air, sunlight, and damp, in that order.
pour the blend back into its pouch or any airtight container and press the air out. keep it in a cupboard rather than on a sunny shelf, because sunlight fades plant-based colour far faster than play ever will.
never store a bin damp. if a wet cup went in, spread it on a baking tray overnight before you bag it back up.
done properly, a bin bought this autumn is still lovely next autumn. we have customers on their fourth year with the same pouch.
